Dates and place of the project:
July 29 – August 10 2012, Russia, Chelyabinsk.

The purpose of the project:
to create the conditions for creative growth of a new generation of choreographers of modern dance in the regions of the Urals and Siberia.

To reach this goal we propose to implement the following program (it is structured as a system of modules):
Technique – Methods – Research – Style – Controversy – Audience.

Our project consists of several educational modules or units and the most important feature of it is the interconnection of all its segments. What does that mean? It means that we are trying to mix different structures: dance and theatre, science and video, street and stage, spectators and artists. It is this combination that enables the participants of the project to look at the creative process in its fullest volume and interaction on all the levels: as an artist, student, and spectator. Each of the modules is directed at developing certain skills, each has its own goal.

The creative concept of the project is based on the formula “Dance-Theatre-Creativity”

Tasks of the project:
- to give the trainees incentive to search new artistic ways and techniques of creating new artistic forms, and the most important aim is to encourage them to have a new perception of art and life, a new aesthetic attitude to the world;

- to create favorable conditions for establishing permanent audience for contemporary dance and raising interest for new forms of art of dance;

- to foster the implementation of new cultural technologies;

- to integrate into the world's cultural space by developing regional network interaction and to strengthen the links to different European network organizations.
